Delectable Russian Salad with Luscious Ingredients

Many things can be said about Russia -- there's the common theory about the mafia and the communist regime in the country. However, despite the tedious political struggles, Russia's dish can only prove to be a "reliever" since it can truly offer a downright simplicity in preparing a delicious meal. Compared to the French and the Italian dishes, Russia's cuisine hardly boast of any delicate detail in food preparation.

The Russian cooking secret lies in simply using all available ingredients and combining them to come up with a combination of mouthwatering flavors. The Russian dish is not only after the mouthwatering taste, but is also more concerned about fitness and nutrition. With this prominent notion, salads hold a fine spot in the Russian dining table. Salads in Russia are not only famous fusions of green leafy vegetables because fish, eggs, meat, and beef are also some of their regular ingredients.

A significant example of a regular serving of a Russian salad is the "Abzhorka", also known as the "Food Lover". In this local treat, roasted onions are merged with boiled beef sirloin, pickles, and carrots, all of which are cut into thinner stripes. The "Abzhorka" is seasoned with salt and mayonnaise to taste, though what could also be a fine preparation variation thereof is to stir two tablespoons of water, vinegar, and olive oil to the mayonnaise for an added twist.

Suave Vogue and Business Moves from Max Chernitsov

When we think of Russia, we think of long cold seasons and people putting on thick, shapeless get-ups (rags?) and furs. But in recent years, people from other, more eminent and more fashion-conscious countries have decided to take a second a look at Russia, since the place itself is doing great on its fashion sense. This is clearly evident with a handful of Russian designers, who are introducing their way into the local and international markets. Helen Yarmak, for one, is a designer who has auspiciously captured the US market, with fur designs put on by known Hollywood celebrities.

When it comes to the domestic audience, on the other hand, Russia has its own persona. In fact, in the last couple of years, the name Max Chernitsov has been somewhat the buzz, especially among the community. Who would not be mentioning the name out loud when he has bagged a major deal with a large department store in Russia?

If I must say, Chernitsov has made somewhat a good move, both fashion-wise and business-wise, since he has decided to concentrate on establishing designs for Russian locals. After all, even it has been years since the fall of communism, Russia is still kind of seeking for something or someone to 'up' their fashion capability. Besides, with most of the locals getting some hints of vogue, the domestic audience is showing to be profitable in the long run.

Educational Travels in the Russian Scientific Territory

One place in the Russian region that foreign travelers should try to visit these days is Kiev. Known as the capital of Ukraine of the former USSR, Kiev was and is still acknowledged as the educational and scientific territory in Eastern Europe. As such, reaching the state should sufficiently provide tourists with an essential view of the many educational and scientific facilities that this Russian territory boasts of.

Of course, wandering through the city of Kiev may prove to be discouraging since it is, after all, an alien place. To remedy this probable problem, a good setting to stay in should be discovered. In this regard, Hotel Bratislava should be urgently considered since it is one hotel in the Russian district where hospitality has long been practiced.

The hotel, in operation since 1989, has become quite distinct for being a very gracious host, especially for foreign visitors. This should not come as a consummate surprise, however, judging by the numerous attractive features that it has commonly offered its many guests. The offers typically include an air-conditioning system, a beauty salon, elevators, laundry service, car rental, gift shops, and so much more. Two exclusive features, however, stand out from the rest, and these are the ATMs and the currency exchange stalls. These two are quite serious, especially for first-time Russian tourists whose dollars may not be readily accepted in most retail shops and hotel stores.

Hotel Bratislava is conveniently anchored at the left coast of the river Dnepr, providing a charming view for Russian visitors. It is equally settled near the Darnitsa metro station, which makes the hotel the ideal landing place for transient travelers looking for good Russian lodgings.
