Discovering Your Queerness from their Manner

Cold temperature and biting wind from Siberia blow through my mind when I think of Russia; but based on stories I've heard of friends who have experienced the country, the Russians warm the cold weather with their peculiar welcome of visitors. From their narratives, I got the impression that experiencing Russia could be quite interesting.

Engrossing it is and I also discerned quite a number of things about myself. A week of immersion in Russia made me realize that I embody queerness by looking at the people's manners. At the airport, customs officials ogled at the bulk of my luggage, considering that I will only be sojourning in Russia for only a week. Staying at a hunting lodge also stressed my queerness such as preferring easing treks to hunting and fishing. Well, I am in fact a legitimate city tenant. This is not to free Russians of their sublimity as a people but to recognize that they are practical, simple, and not interested in wasting their time with petty things that do not contribute to their growth as individuals and as a society, but still open to different beliefs and practices. We smile and laugh at each other's queerness so I know they reveled in the fellowship as much as I did.
