While other people prefer to travel to Russia by plane, some simply opt to take the train because it's the most peaceful way to reach this country. There are two classifications of train systems in Russia: regular trains and International trains.

Generally, people who can afford to lose more cash in railways than in tours take the International train because it offers more perks than the regular type. Like any special train, some Russian International trains have comfy beds and lounges where passengers can plainly lie around while waiting to reach their destinations.

On the other hand, regular Russian trains are preferred by people who enjoy touring the Russian land, more than the train itself, because the rides are much inexpensive. These trains also consist of beds and compartments where people can repose and relax all throughout the journey; these beds are open to the public, though.

With the Russian railway transit, getting to the majestic Russian territory is swift and convenient. In fact, you just need at least 35 hours to go all the way from the west of Europe to the fantastic territory of St. Petersburg or Moscow. If you're from the east of Europe, all you need is 24 hours, but I say you to take the train from around the Baltic states, should you opt to reach Russia more speedily, because the area is just 15 hours away from the country.
